I'm so glad you're here.

This website was created to document the amazing wildlife that shares our backyard with us every day. What started as a simple curiosity quickly turned into a passion for observing and recording the birds, animals, insects, and unexpected moments happening right outside our door.

One of the most exciting parts of this journey is following the lives of our local birds. From nest building and egg laying to hatchlings taking their first flights, there is always something new to discover. Recently, we've been closely following a Carolina Wren pair as they build a nest and raise their family, and you'll be able to follow their story here through photos, videos, and daily updates.

Our goal is simple: to share the beauty of everyday wildlife and encourage others to slow down and appreciate the natural world around them. You don't need to live near a national park or wildlife reserve to witness incredible animal behavior. Sometimes the most fascinating stories happen in your own backyard.
